About Leger Law
What Guides Our Work
We believe good legal guidance starts with listening. Before we recommend a plan, a document, or a next step, we take the time to understand your family’s story and what you’re hoping to achieve. That approach shapes everything we do, from the first conversation to years down the road when your plan needs to grow with you.
That approach is why families trust Leger Law, and it’s what you can expect from every attorney on our team.
Meet the Attorneys
Nick Leger
Nick is a dedicated family man who cares about helping his clients protect what matters most: their loved ones, their legacy, and their future. He takes time to listen and learn about his clients’ unique circumstances, and then he uses his years of experience to craft a thoughtfully tailored estate plan that meets their goals. Nick will make you feel confident that everything is taken care of, giving you and your loved ones security and clarity for the future.
When he’s not helping families secure their future, Nick spends as much time as possible outdoors with his wife and son. Whether they’re surfing, kayaking, or fishing around the Wilmington, North Carolina area, being in nature is where he feels most at home. He also loves backpacking through the woods, fishing for sheepshead, and gathering oysters—always embracing the adventure of the outdoors.

Nick also has a lifelong passion for rugby, playing since 2007 and currently competing with his beloved Cape Fear Rugby team, the Flytraps. He’d be more than happy to chat about the sport, which he believes reflects many of the same qualities he brings to his work, including preparation, patience, focus, skill, and dedication.
He brings that same passion for adventure and problem-solving to estate planning, tackling complex challenges with curiosity and expertise. While some may find estate planning dull, Nick finds it meaningful and engaging, knowing that the right plan can bring peace of mind to families for generations to come.

Jennifer L. Eppick
Jennifer focuses her practice on estate planning and business succession planning. She works with individuals, families, and business owners to develop personalized plans designed to help protect their assets, preserve their legacies, and provide peace of mind for the future.
Originally from Ohio, Jennifer relocated to Wilmington in 2017, drawn to coastal living and all that the area has to offer. She has lived in Leland since 2019 and has had the opportunity to witness the remarkable growth of the community while becoming increasingly connected to the people who call the area home.

Before focusing on estate planning, Jennifer represented buyers and sellers in residential real estate transactions. With a Master of Business Administration, she brings a unique combination of legal, business, and real estate experience to her practice. Her business background also allows her to provide practical guidance to business owners planning for the future of their companies.
Jennifer is committed to making the estate planning process approachable and understandable. She takes pride in building lasting relationships with clients and helping them make informed decisions with professionalism, compassion, and attention to detail. When she is not focusing on her practice, Jennifer enjoys gardening and cooking with the herbs from her garden, taking advantage of southeastern North Carolina’s long growing season. She also keeps a beehive in her backyard, a hobby she finds both fascinating and rewarding.
